ABOUT BAY VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER
Bay View Community Center has been serving Bay View and the surrounding neighborhoods for over 40 years.
Building on its legacy of offering a variety of programming for every age, the Center, under new leadership, is shifting its focus outwards to the community. Our community building efforts are aimed at bringing neighbors together in the spirit of reciprocal relationships. A focus on equity and sustainability allow us to support the community in a way that uplifts all. Our Community Justice Garden and Candid Conversation Series create spaces for others to share their knowledge and experiences for everyone's benefit. In addition, the Emergency Food Pantry has grown tremendously to meet the growing needs due to the pandemic and is focusing on a more holistic approach to food insecurity with new fresh food access initiatives.
